All American Everyone Can Join Fabulous Fantastic 4th of July Parade

Last week Dad was in Madison, WI all week for work.  Sad.  But lucky for us Nana came to visit and help out for the week!!  Yeah!  The boys were very excited to have someone new to read to.  Yep.  They are loving their new ability to read.  They also still love being read to...Nana even read books to them while they ate their breakfast!  Such a treat!  Thanks Nana!!

It finally truly feels like summer around here.  To add to the summer fun we had our neighbors over for some marshmallow roasting and smores eating!  They were a hit...so much so that all the kids had to take a dip in the kiddy pool to clean up!  They sure were so much sweeter than I remember though...

For the 4th of July we had some friends and neighbors over for some serious bike/wagon/stroller decorating.

Then we all headed out to participate in Corvallis' All American Everyone Can Join Fabulous Fantastic 4th of July Parade!

It was fun to be in the parade with all our friends and to wave to all the people watching.

Cole was an expert bike parade participant.  To celebrate such a great parade we also hit the bouncy slides/maze and fountains at the main 4th of July festival.  Fun for all!!
